CAL-MED AMBULANCE SERVICES
At CAL-MED Ambulance we offer several levels of service and are providers of several specialty services as well. These include;
(BLS) Basic Life Support Ambulance: Our ambulances are equipped with all the latest, high quality equipment and are staffed by two highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s). Cal-Med Ambulance provides BLS ambulance services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
(ACLS/CCT) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Ambulance: Is an assembly of highly trained and certified Registered Nurses, to transport patients with critical care needs, such as Intravenous (IV) Monitoring, Cardiac Monitoring and, or Catheters. Supported by specifically trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) and the latest medical equipment.
(NICU) Our ambulances are equipped with an industry specific heavy duty inverter to run auxiliary medical devices (cardiac monitors, IV pumps, ventilator, etc.), as well as medical grade MedAir, considered standard equipment for NICU transports. Our staff receives specialized training in order to assist medical staff when transporting high risk patients.
(RT/SCT) Respiratory Therapist Ambulance: Uutilizes a team of experienced, certified Respiratory Therapists, (RT’s) and EMT’s to safely transport patents with a Tracheotomy or those that are Ventilator Dependent.
